David Peterson

Dip.F.D. M.B.I.F.D. & BRAMM

Following his formal education, David worked alongside Clive and Bryn at the family funeral home, prior to completing an internship with Frederick Paine Funeral Directors. Based in Kingston upon Thames, David acquired extensive industry expertise and experience that would prepare him for future endeavours. Upon returning to the family business, David went on to pursue his funeral directing diploma, as well as becoming a qualified memorial mason and memorial inspector.

In the late nineties, V A Peterson Funeral Service purchased and refurbished Hook Funeral Service in Griffithstown, moved in, and proceeded with developments. David has continually partaken in Pontypool Round table charity events, such as abseiling down Newport’s transporter bridge and Pontypool fireworks display! His pastimes include fitness-related activities and catching up with friends.

Ross Peterson

Dip.FAA & BRAMM

Ross began his career at the funeral home working part-time whilst finishing his education at Pontypool college. In 2008, Ross joined the company full-time after acquiring his Business Studies qualifications. Since becoming involved with the company, Ross has earned his Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the National Association of Funeral Directors (N.A.F.D).

Ross is also the principal qualified memorial designer and mason at the firm, having significant experience. Training with The British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM), Ross is authorised to fit memorials in Cemeteries and Churchyards across the country.

When he’s not at work, Ross participates in 4 cross mountain bike races, works on his classic car and goes fishing.

Aime Pinch

BA (HONS) Dip.F.D. & Dip.FAA

Aime’s background is in art and design, and she has an excellent eye for colour and design. At Caerleon University, she studied fine art and product design, earning herself a Diploma in Art Foundation. Following this, Aime undertook a degree in Business and Law, from which she successfully graduated.

Aime joined the company in 2012, and soon after, pursued a Diploma in funeral administration and funeral directing with the N.A.F.D. Prior to joining the family firm, Aime worked at the R.A.F.A club for several years in between studies, and is also a qualified first aider.

Aime’s pastimes include taking her dogs for a walk, painting, drawing, spending time with loved ones and going on day trips and holidays.
